Killed during the action "Bodenplatte". In the morning of the 1st januari
1945 the German "Luftwaffe" carried out a last desperate attack on a 
number of Allied airfields. Also the Polish Airforce on the airbase of Gent
was a target and six Polish Airmen lost their lives there.
