Lancaster MK III, PB 252, code M, of 300 Squadron took off on 25.7.1944 
from Faldingworth to attack Stuttgart (germany). 

Short before reaching Orleans there was a collision. An aircraft 
boared into the Lancaster with the result a crash 4 km. west of 
the village de Lailly en Val about 25 km. from Orleans.
