por. pil. Maras Jan Kazimierz was shot down by enemy fighter 
over France near St. Omer.

 ORB - Northolt
12 aircraft went on a "Circus" operation, from which P/O. J. MARAS 
and F/O. J. KOSMOWSKI failed to return. 
F/Lt. W. NOWAK had to bale out over the Channel and was rescued 
and later admitted to E.M.S. Hospital, Dover. F/O. J. SLONSKI and 
Sgt. FRANCZAK each destroyed 1 Me. 109.
