D.9.8404

His tank was hit by an 88mm German anti-tank gun posted on the
D 928 running to St. Omer, near the cemetery of Ruisseauville.
He was brought to a Field Hospital along the N 39 at Humières.
There he died. Because he was he was Jewish there was not a burial in
the cemetery around the church of Humières but in a meadow along
that road.
In 1972 his mortal remains were exhumed and transferred to the French
Militairy Cemetery "la Targette"
