The inscription POLISH FORCES does not appear on the memorial to A. Tyburczy. 
The assumption is that he was a civilian. 
In the Polish list of casualties he appears to be commemorated twice. 
In one listing his rank is given as strz. and in the other he is classified as inwalida.
