Vickers Wellington X, nr. HE747 piloted by plut. pil. Kołkowski Antoni 
made a trainig flight. 

Caused by overheating of the engines he must undertake an emergency landing 
but he must avoid buildings and lost speed. 

The aircrafr crashed near Blitherness, Silloth, Cumbria.

Plut. pil. Kołkowski Antoni was killed and plut. r/op. Malicki Eugeniusz 
died the next day.

Sgt naw. bomb. Rdułtowski, Sgt op. radaru Popko Mieczyław Zygmunt 
and Sgt op. radaru Wezołowski Andrzej survived.
